Nice and quiet place. There is a guesthouse across the road. Shade is only in the morning - without an awning if the sun is burning I can't imagine. In Volary beautiful houses, museum, Jewish cemetery, nice walk from the old brewery through the cross road to the viewpoint under Kamenac. On the way to Lenora there is the Soumar peat bog with a small lookout tower. The trail goes around the Teplá Vltava River, where there is a nice campsite with refreshments and a museum of light fortification with a bunch of enthusiasts. Here they let you touch weapons and climb through bunkers and play soldiers a bit. They also have a little shop and admission is voluntary. In Lenora, the closed castle is under repair, but especially the beautiful covered bridge of Rechle and then the municipal bread oven, where occasionally they really bake bread. From the walks I still recommend to go to the ruins of Hus. A very nice walk through the woods past the old buried table and the Blanice River from the parking lot of the old German cemetery of the defunct village of Cudrovice. There is also a walk through the woods from the Bezkemp to the Chlumský pond, where you can get a little lost. If you are lucky you might meet a family of wild pigs with five beautiful piglets.
A beautiful and quiet corner by the forest with civilization within easy reach. Nicely maintained with everything you need. And a bonus - the cats will wake you up in time for you to get as much done as possible that day :-))
