Not far from our eco-farm in the Protected Landscape Area Blanský les you will find our teepee. The horses Šiva and Šumava will be grazing a few tens of meters from you. Where do the property ratings come from?
A farm with animals (horses, ducks, chickens) offers accommodations in a teepee, a bed for two people with linens, and an extra bed. A dry toilet and an outdoor shower are available. The owner is kind and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay with our 2-year-old granddaughter, and we even brought our dog along.
We recommend this place for people who aren’t afraid to step out of their comfort zone and want to “stop time” and connect with nature.
We left the place right away. They canceled the reservation. Apparently, the swimming pond had dried up, and no water came out of the shower even after turning both valves on. The tent was protected by a fence, which was fine, but the chance to go out into nature was slim due to the risk of the electric fence. The farmhouse looked like a ruin; I was afraid to plug in the fridge for fear of causing a short circuit. I’d be ashamed to rent this out for that much money. The tent was fine, but it was impossible to start a fire inside it—there was a big dreamcatcher hanging from the ceiling, so that was a bummer.
If you want to completely switch off from civilisation or enjoy some time in the countryside with your children, this is the place to be. The hostess is very friendly, patient with the children and tries to accommodate everything. We visited the teepee in late summer, when the nights and mornings are already cool. However, there was plenty of firewood. We did not heat inside. The teepee was equipped quite comfortably, I, as the third member of our crew, lacked a duvet and slept only under a blanket. Bed space for one adult and kids ages 6 and 9 totally fine. I appreciated the electricity, where we could plug in our travel fridge with our groceries and recharge our phones during our trip. The breakfast I ordered for our stay was sufficient for everyone. Our host's daughters helped the hostess in the garden and yard with the care of the animals (2 horses, chickens, Indian runners), she was extremely patient and constantly explained everything to them. There is a small playground in front of the house in the village and about 7 km away Ktis pond, where there was perfect beach swimming with refreshments. We came here from the city, from a prefab just for the experience. COMPLETED.

Owner's reaction Někdy nastane situace, že se nelze zavděčit vůbec ničím. Pan T. si objednal pobyt v teepee na pastvině u koní. Pastvina je ohraničena elektrickým ohradníkem, který po domluvě lze vypnout a koně přehnat na jiný kus pastviny. To pan T. odmítl. K teepee je příslušenství suchý záchod a venkovní sprcha. Voda je přivedena samospádem, tudíž nelze očekávat tlak vody jako je to běžné u sprch v domácnostech. Sprcha fungovala! Bohužel se p. T. nesmířil s prostředím pastviny, očekával vydlážděný chodníček a přímý průchod z pastviny ven, což z logiky nelze, pokud si objednal pobyt v teepee u koní!
Co se týče tůně, letos je extrémní sucho a ano tůň vyschla, to ovšem nejsem schopna ovlivnit. Nedaleko je přírodní koupaní, o kterém jsem ho informovala. Oheň v suchém počasí je nebezpečné rozdělávat, venku bylo přes 30 C tudíž topit v teepee mi přišlo jako nesmysl. Lapač je zavěšen skoro 3 metry nad ohništěm, takže pokud p. T. plánoval zapálit velkou vatru, tak by ho zřejmě spálil a taky celé teepee. Co se týče stavu mého domu ten nijak nesouvisí s objednávkou pobytu v teepee u koní. Host se choval arogantně a rozhodně ho nemůžu doporučit nikomu, kdo nabízí ubytování na bezkempu a ani jinde.
