Where do the property ratings come from?
A quiet garden bordering on one side on a lot with a water tank and on the other side on a field. Access to an electrical connection and drinking water. It was a bit inconvenient to get to the water spigot through a rosehip bush or over some kind of cover, but if you’re not too fussy, it won’t bother you. The portable toilet was clean and well-maintained—it even had a pleasant scent. It was also nice to have a plastic lounge chair, a chair, and a table that we could use. The portable fire pit on the paved area in front of the garden shed was also practical, especially during a period of extreme drought when lighting fires in natural fire pits was prohibited. Disposing of sorted waste wasn’t a problem. There are containers for plastic, paper, and organic waste 100 meters from the property. It was trickier to dispose of mixed waste. The locals have their own trash cans, and stuffing it into the trash bin at the swimming area wasn’t appropriate. Eventually, we found trash bins at a truck rest stop 4 km from Lažany along the main road toward Černá Hora. The small local swimming area, about 150 meters away, is freely accessible and free of charge. Overall, the property offers peace, space, and privacy. 🙂
